Cinnamon, great for diabetics.

When the glucose levels are high, cinnamon can help us. Recent studies done by the Department of Human Nutrition, in the Agriculture University NWFP in Pakistan, prove that Cinnamon is very efficient lowering (between 15 and 25%) high glucose levels, at the same time cholesterol levels (between 10 and 25%) and triglycerides (between 20 and 30%).

Good news for people with diabetes (Type II) and/or patients with cardiovascular risk (excessive cholesterol and triglycerides). In most diabetes cases after finishing treatment (20 days in the case of high glucose levels and 40 days in cholesterol and triglycerides levels) and stopping the use of cinnamon, patients maintain more equilibrate than before using cinnamon.

This is an interesting fact, because the goal is to try to regulate the organisms without the use of medicine, that in most cases only works will you use them and if you stop you will start to feel bad again.

Note: Cinnamon, according to recent studies, it’s efficient natural remedy against diabetes, because it helps to decrease glucose levels. It has been proved that cinnamon also works for cholesterol and triglycerides.
